polo!

I know, its been a month. Haven’t really been doing much actually, so its why I haven’t posted. And some the stuff I’d like to post about would actually be an invite for some flaming. Politics, both state and federal.

Anywho. Been just playing Borderlands and the new Arcade on the 360.

Also went and saw Alice but I don’t feel its really worth talking about. My personal opinion, the best part of the whole movie was the credits, where the plants/fungi were growing.

No, didn’t goto Pax East, and I was actually ‘grumpy’ (as my wife put it) that weekend. But good news is, Pax Prime is coming! Click on that link for news and to order your badges now! If you don’t, they will sell out fast, and you won’t get one.

Lastly, i’ve now been using Audible.com for a year and a half and can’t recommend this enough. As a book worm, i’ve found that with work, marriage, and other obligations, it has become harder to be able to read as much. So I had started using Audible and highly suggest you take a look at it yourself. You get 1-2 books per month with your plan, which are yours to keep and can be put onto many different devices.

I think I will start doing picks with my posts and as my first one, I would like to recommend Daemon by Daniel Suarez, narrated by Jeff Gurner.

And as a special offer: Try Audible Now and Get A Free Audiobook Download with a 14 Day Trial. Choose from over 75,000 Titles. The book is yours to keep for free with no obligation as long as you cancel within 14 days. But I don’t think you will, its an amazing service.

Ok, that wasn’t part of the vows, but yes, I am now married.

After 37 years of life and several stormy relationships, I finally found the right girl for me.

She’s able to put up with my bullshit, ribbing, holds many of the same interests I do, and even calls me her dork. Oh, and my folks love her.

The wedding was last Sunday, Sept 20th, at Lake Wilderness Lodge in Maple Valley, and the weather couldn’t of been any more perfect. Bright blue skies with just a few soft white clouds floating around the sky. The guests loved the food and free drinks.

Only issue we had was with the beer kegs. It seems the regulator wasn’t working correctly.

More of the wedding pics will be made avail as we get through them and start receiving them from others. As will our honeymoon pics.

Speaking of honeymoons. We went to Walt Disney World and had a blast. We hit up the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and the pool quite a bit.

Hot and humid it was and only rained on the last night there.

Down poured is more like it. We were drenched, not just wet, within about 5 minutes.

But overall, everything was perfect. And I wanted to thank my family, Meg’s family, and all our friends for their support and contributions of all sorts. It means alot to the both of us!

And if you’d like to read the vows: Wedding Page

Now, if only I can get used to this ring. :p

Plans and such for the wedding are coming along nicely. So far only one hiccup, the caterer. But we’ll get that situated. We’ve got a DJ locked in, Entertainment Northwest and got a really good deal on it.

Photographer, we’re in talks right now with Fancy Fin Photography who does some amazing work and came recommended.

And we booked our honeymoon this weekend to Disney World.

Other then that, we already had the place, officator, colors, etc, done. Now just to get the invites finished.
